TU-Sofia is the first and largest to support the establishment of most of the higher technical schools in Bulgaria, with the highest accreditation rating of all universities in Bulgaria, which sets educational standards and introduces national priorities for the development of education and science. The University is a leader in the field of nanotechnology, virtual engineering, energy efficiency, renewable energy engineering ecology and engineering design, in the use of best practices as a philosophy and fundamental principle in engineering. TU Sofia has established long-term partnerships in training and research with leading high-tech companies in Bulgaria. TU Sofia established the first faculties with foreign language teaching in general curricula and double diplomas with universities in Germany, England, France and others. He is a partner of the German Academic Exchange Service in Germany’s largest international educational project – the Faculty of German Engineering Training and Industrial Management. The university is the organizer and host of many authoritative world and European forums – an opportunity for direct meetings and contacts with scientists from around the world. Teaching teams participate in the development of national strategies for the development of education, science and industry. They are also at the heart of the project and the construction of Sofia Tech Park, which will provide a platform for the development of innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of information technology. By uniting the efforts of specialists from several fields – mechanics, electronics, robotics, control systems and more. We are working on the largest in the country project of the Ministry of Education and Science “University Research Complex for Innovation and Knowledge Transfer in the field of micro / nanotechnologies and materials, energy efficiency and virtual engineering” worth BGN 20 million. three areas – Virtual Engineering, Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS) and Mechanical Energy Recovery Systems. TU Sofia is the only university in the country admitted to the International Institute of Technology of HP. The only Bulgarian laboratory in virtual engineering at the Institute of Technology – Karlsruhe is at the Technical University – Sofia. The only vehicle design studio, built with the direct assistance of the Corporate and Innovative Design Department of the Mercedes brand, is also with us. Patents or end-to-end applications, with the possibility of rapid implementation, are present at the largest international exhibitions from Germany to China and Japan.
